Lion Vijay Kumar’s commitment to enhance healthcare services in the community

Vijay Kumar has achieved a remarkable feat by successfully constructing a three-story special building at Nilofar Hospital in Hyderabad, a testament to his unwavering dedication and hard work. The initial idea of building a hospital faced some challenges in securing a suitable location, with debates about allocating the land for educational institutions. Nevertheless, Vijay Kumar’s commitment to the project remained resolute, reflecting his determination to enhance healthcare services in the community. This achievement stands as an inspiring example of how individuals, driven by a noble cause, can make a significant impact on their community’s well-being.
 
In 1990, a hospital was established in Jadcharla under the name “Purnachandra Rao” in honor of the parents of the visionary behind this initiative. Mr. Purnachandra Rao and Mrs. Nancharamma played a pivotal role in providing a dedicated space for the market yard, thereby alleviating the struggles and hardships faced by local farmers and traders. Their efforts were acknowledged by the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who inaugurated the market yard, which serves not only the farmers of Mahabubnagar but also those from neighboring districts. The sheer scale of this yard is truly impressive, benefiting over 40 individuals and facilitating crucial heart surgeries for many, making it a significant contribution to the community’s well-being.
 
Vijay Kumar, serving as the Governor, has tirelessly contributed to the community by establishing numerous schools, bus shelters, and hospitals, along with providing ambulance services. In a remarkable feat in 1997, he organized blood donation camps, collecting blood from 324 individuals across 20 units within a single year. His service continues to expand daily, offering medical assistance and contributing to the welfare of the community. Looking ahead, Vijay Kumar is committed to conducting various service programs in the future, with the ultimate goal of bringing enduring relief to the hearts of many.
